Eau de Jane is the scent of the past, the present and the future. The scent of now. Eau de Jane is the fragrance of green grass, earth and the flower petals we held as children. It is a shared scent memory and it connects us to each other.

Eau de Jane is my interpretation of all of our earliest and most innocent childhood scent memories, including scents worn by women I loved and my earliest perfume memories. I’ve always loved the green mossy and grassy scents of the middle of the last century. I adore that green forest freshness, and it’s calming elegance. All my favourite perfumes are green, and have associations with good things. The vintage green scents of the fifties, sixties and seventies were fantastic. Many would be considered masculine by today’s standards, but they really just smelled, well, green and amazing.

On a cellular level we are all the same. We are all part of this earth and our energy never goes away. This primal memory of the earth and sun and skin from when we were children - this scent memory of a time when we knew anything and all was possible. The morning, the green grass, and a single drop of dew.

“We are a way for the universe to know itself. Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return. And we can, because the cosmos is also within us. We're made of star stuff”

—Carl Sagan

This is what connects us all to each other and connects us to the earth. I made Eau de Jane for you, and for us all.
